25.08.2020 China (People's Rep.) introduced a medical certificate requirement for passengers arriving from or having transited through Nepal or United Arab Emirates. China (People's Rep.) will introduce a medical certificate requirement to passengers arriving from or having transited through certain countries.

26.08.2020 China (People's Rep.) introduced a medical certificate requirement for passengers arriving from or having transited through Benin, Bulgaria or Indonesia.

28.08.2020 China (People's Rep.) specified the requirement for medical certificates for passengers arriving from or having transited through Egypt, Luxembourg, Malta or North Macedonia (Rep.).

Costa Rica  27.08.2020 Costa Rica updated the list of countries from which passengers and flights are allowed, specified family members who are allowed to enter and added the possibility to have an insurance approved by the Costa Rican Institute of Tourism. Partially Restrictive 
Cyprus

26.08.2020 From 28 August 2020, Cyprus will no longer allow entry to passengers arriving from Andorra, Croatia, France, Netherlands and Tunisia, and will introduce medical certificate requirement for passengers for passengers arriving from Denmark, Iceland, Ireland (Rep.), Sweden and Switzerland.

Egypt

24.08.2020 Egypt has changed the requirement for medical certificates to be issued 48 hours before departure, instead of 72 hours.

25.08.2020 Until 1 September 2020, Egypt requires that medical certificates are issued 72 hours before arrival. From 1 September 2020, medical certificates will have to be issued 48 hours before arrival.

Germany

26.08.2020 Germany removed the transit restriction for passengers arriving from a non-Schengen Member State to another Schengen Member State.

28.08.2020 Germany specified that immediate family members of residents of Germany can enter and they must present proof of their family relationship.

Honduras 25.08.2020 Honduras clarified that the requirement to have a medical certificate does not apply to airline crew. Partially Restrictive

Hungary 24.08.2020 Hungary specified that passengers arriving from Norway are no longer subject to medical screening and quarantine. Partially Restrictive 
Indonesia

26.08.2020 Indonesia requires a health form to be submitted online before departure.

27.08.2020 Indonesia specified that the health form can also be presented upon arrival.

26.08.2020 Ireland (Rep.) changed the COVID-19 Passenger Locator Form to an online form.

Japan 28.08.2020 From 30 August 2020, Japan will introduce an entry restriction for passengers who have been in certain countries in the past 14 days (please see item 16 below). From 1 September 2020, Japan will allow entry to residents of Japan under certain conditions. Partially Restrictive 
Kazakhstan 

24.08.2020 Kazakhstan specified that nationals of Belarus, China (People's Rep.), Egypt, Georgia, Germany, Japan, Korea (Rep.), Netherlands, Russian Fed., Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine and United Arab Emirates are only allowed to enter if arriving directly from their country of nationality.

26.08.2020 Kazakhstan specified which passengers are allowed to enter.

27.08.2020 Kazakhstan specified that flights are still suspended

Kuwait

26.08.2020 Kuwait is no longer allowing entry to passengers who have been in the past 14 days in Afghanistan, and specified that the COVID-19 test must have been taken at most 96 hours before departure.

27.08.2020 Kuwait specified that passengers returning to Kuwait with a medical certificate issued before leaving Kuwait, no longer require a new medical certificate.

25.08.2020 Kyrgyzstan started allowing entry to nationals of certain countries.

28.08.2020 Kyrgyzstan suspended the visa on arrival facilities.

Lithuania

25.08.2020 Lithuania clarified that the exemption for family members of residents only apply to family members of permanent residents of Lithuania.

27.08.2020 Lithuania introduced the requirement to have a medical certificate with a negative Coronavirus (COVID-19) test result issued at least 72 hours before arrival.

Malaysia 28.08.2020 Malaysia is no longer requiring a Letter of Approval (Entry Permit). Partially Restrictive

Myanmar  28.08.2020 Myanmar extended the flight suspensions until 30 September 2020. Totally Restrictive 
New Caledonia 28.08.2020 New Caledonia specified that airline crew are subject to medical screening. Partially Restrictive 
New Zealand 24.08.2020 New Zealand specified that passengers can transit through Auckland (AKL) for maximum 24 hours. Partially Restrictive

25.08.2020 From 29 August 2020 Nigeria will allow flights.

28.08.2020 Nigeria extended the suspension of flights until 4 September 2020.

Norway 25.08.2020 Norway requires that passengers arriving from certain countries have a confirmed booking of accommodation.  Partially Restrictive 
Panama 24.08.2020 Panama extended the flight suspensions until 22 September 2020. Totally Restrictive 
Poland 

24.08.2020 Poland extended the flight suspensions until 25 August 2020.

25.08.2020 Poland extended the flight restrictions until 1 September 2020 and removed the flight suspensions from Andorra.

Portugal  27.08.2020 Portugal removed the flight suspensions. Partially Restrictive 
Reunion  24.08.2020 Reunion started allowing entry to passengers arriving from Australia, Canada, Georgia, Japan, Korea (Rep.), New Zealand, Rwanda, Thailand, Tunisia and Uruguay. Partially Restrictive 
Romania 26.08.2020 Romania updated the list of countries from which flights are suspended. Partially Restrictive 
Serbia 25.08.2020 Serbia specified which passengers do not need a medical certificate if arriving from Bulgaria, Croatia, North Macedonia (Rep.) or Romania. Not Restrictive
South Sudan 

24.08.2020 Sudan specified that nationals of Sudan and passengers of Sudanese origins must also have a medical certificate.

26.08.2020 South Sudan specified the requirements for the medical certificate, and specified that nationals of Botswana and Egypt cannot obtain a visa on arrival.

27.08.2020 South Sudan specified that visas on arrival are also issued to nationals of Botswana and that the required test must be a Coronavirus (COVID-19) PCR test.

Spain  27.08.2020 Spain started allowing unmarried partners of nationals of Spain with a confirmation of their relationship. Partially Restrictive 
Sri Lanka 24.08.2020 Airports in Sri Lanka reopened only for humanitarian and repatriation flights. Totally Restrictive 
St. Lucia 25.08.2020 St. Lucia specified that all passengers need a medical certificate and they are also subject to PCR test on arrival at their own expense. Partially Restrictive 
St. Maarten 24.08.2020 St. Maarten introduced a health declaration form to airline crew and passengers in transit, and introduced a medical certificate requirement to passengers in transit. Partially Restrictive 
Sudan

25.08.2020 Sudan specified that nationals of Sudan and passengers of Sudanese origins do not need a medical certificate until 27 August 2020.

28.08.2020 Sudan specified that all passengers must have a medical certificate.

Sweden  28.08.2020 Sweden extended entry restrictions until 31 October 2020, and is no longer allowing entry to residents of Morocco. Partially Restrictive 
Switzerland 28.08.2020 From 31 August 2020, Switzerland will start allowing entry and transit to passengers arriving from 19 countries, even if they have transited through other countries.  Partially Restrictive 
Syria 26.08.2020 Syria extended the flight suspensions until 9 September 2020. Totally Restrictive 
Thailand 27.08.2020 Thailand extended the entry restrictions until 30 September 2020. Partially Restrictive 
The Netherlands  26.08.2020 The Netherlands specified the requirements for the notification letter for students. Partially Restrictive 
Tunisia

26.08.2020 Tunisia specified that all passengers must have a medical certificate issued at most 120 hours before arrival.

Turkmenistan 28.08.2020 Turkmenistan extended the flight suspensions until 1 October 2020. Totally Restrictive 
Ukraine 28.08.2020 Ukraine introduced an entry restriction for certain passengers. Ukraine specified that the entry restrictions are effective until 28 September 2020. Partially Restrictive 
United Arab Emirates 

25.08.2020 United Arab Emirates specified that passengers arriving from Maldives, Seychelles or Singapore at Abu Dhabi (AUH) must have a medical certificate.

28.08.2020 United Arab Emirates specified that nationals of Korea (Rep.) traveling under the Fast Track program can enter Dubai (DXB) and they must meet certain conditions.

25.08.2020 The USA specified that passengers allowed to enter are subject to measures set by the state of their final destination.

27.08.2020 The USA provided a website link where the COVID-19 measures set by each state/territory can be found.

Vanuatu 26.08.2020 Vanuatu introduced an "Online Travelers Health Registration Form" to be completed 24 hours before departure. Totally Restrictive 
Zambia 26.08.2020 Zambia introduced medical certificate requirements, quarantine measures for nationals and residents of Zambia and medical screening measures on arrival. Partially Restrictive
